Yes! We only use 100% botanically derived ingredients.
No! All Instil products are Non-GMO.
All Instil products are made with 100% all natural ingredients. This means you can rest easy knowing we do not use artificial sweeteners, dyes or flavourings.
No! The vegetable glycerin within our elixirs and tonics is naturally very sweet, which explains the sweetness you might be tasting. The only "sweetener" that we use is actual Licorice root, which can be found in some of our tea blends.
Some herbs can be great allies during this time., however we always recommend consulting with your healthcare practitioner about the use of herbs during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We always recommend consulting with your healthcare practitioner about the use of herbal products while on prescription medication for serious conditions. While some herbs are deemed safe, some can cause contraindications.
We source as local as possible and prioritize Canadian-grown. The majority of our herbs come from organic South Western Ontario herb farms.
Herbal Tea Blends
We recommend storing your tea somewhere cool and dry, such as your pantry. This will preserve the integrity of the herbal ingredients.
Do not store in the refrigerator as condensation can occur and create an environment hospitable to mold and bacteria.
Our premium tea and herbal blends last up to 12 months when properly stored.
All our herbal tea blends are packaged in opaque, re-sealable pouches and amber jars in order to mitigate exposure to light oxidation. Why? Because by protecting herbs against light and air, you preserve their therapeutic integrity, as well as flavour and taste.
Yes, orders may be canceled prior to shipment. Once an order has been fulfilled, it cannot be canceled. All order cancellations incur a 10% restocking fee.

Please keep in mind that once an order has been packaged and fulfilled we cannot make any adjustments so please double check your order to make sure that all items, discount codes, billing, and shipping information are correct prior to checkout.

Shipping & Returns
We offer free shipping for Canadian orders over $95.
Our team fulfills orders as quickly as possible, in the order in which they are received. Typically, fulfillment time takes 1-3 business days (M-F) from when the order is placed, depending on order volume and product availability.
If your order is returned to us for any reason, we can either re-ship it for an additional re-shipping cost, or we can refund the cost of the products purchased. Shipping is non-refundable.
Yes, we ship to many countries worldwide! We offer USPS Priority International, DHL, UPS or FedEx. We recommend UPS or FedEx as they tend to be the fastest and safest options worldwide.
If you would like to return any new and unopened/unused product for a refund, the product must be returned at your expense; the original and return shipping charges will not be refunded. For all returns to be processed, we must be notified within 15 days of receipt. Product must be returned to us in it's original, and unmarked condition within 30 days of receipt to qualify for a refund.
Once your item is returned back to our studio and inspected by our team, your refund will be issued, typically within 1-3 business days.
If your packaged never arrived please contact email@example.com . Depending on the circumstance of the missing package, we can potentially provide a full or partial refund.
