Will REM make me drowsy?

Yes, and no.

REM is designed to very gently assist you in transitioning from wakefulness to sleep. It helps calm and quiet the busy mind, while slowly relaxing the muscles. By the time you are ready to rest you will feel sleepy, otherwise known as drowsy.

Unlike many other sleep supports, REM will not cause you wake up feeling drowsy, rather you should feel refreshed and energized for the day ahead.

How long before I go to sleep should I drink it?

Every body is slightly different so we suggest sipping on a cup of REM anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours before you plan to fall asleep. We have found 1 hour to be the sweet spot.

Will this tea help me to STAY asleep throughout the night?

Yes. REM is designed to support "falling asleep", as well as "staying asleep".
